Tulkiaragė paths: story created by nature and farmer
The paths tells unique story of Tulkiaragė, that was created by water and human. From the very beggining of this territory formation (400 years ago), human found his place here: he built dykes and polder system; mowed and took care of meadows. Once affected, Tulkiaragė ecosystem became depended from human. Only with his existence, huge variety of species can flourish here. Of course, the following circumstances are not less important: what kind of people will farm here; what relationship with nature they will have and how this perception will reflect in their actions.

The bigest Aquatic Warbler in the world settled down in Tulkiaragė nature path. This globally threatened bird in a form of artistic painting alighted on reconstructed pumping station, which now functions as bird watching tower and living nature school.
The length of the paths is 1,2 km to one side. It goes along the dyke.
