In 2003 "Vyno Klubas" was the first specialized wine shop and tasting centre in Lithuania. In 2004 we started to import wines that were missing in our market: from Austria, Alsace, Germany, Bordeaux, Portugal, etc. In 2005 we commenced the first Lithuanian wine fair "Vyno Dienos" as well as launched a dedicated wine magazine "Vyno Žurnalas". In 2006 we opened the second retail shop and initiated formation of "Lithuanian Sommelier association". Together with it "Vyno Klubas" founded "Sommelier School" - the main wine education centre in Lithuania.
Despite such a broad public activity, we continue to position ourselves as the main retailer of fine wines in Lithuania, offering the biggest collection of Bordeaux, Burgundian, Alsace, Loire Valley, Rioja, Tuscany, Port and Champagne wines. Our team of wine experts routinely holds wine tasting seminars all around Lithuania.
Restaurants and wine boutiques are supplied with our wines by "Duda ir kompanija Ltd".
Two our fine wine boutiques are located in Vilnius, Stumbru str. 15 and in Klaipėda, Liepu str. 20.
Here you will find a great variety of vintage
armagnacs, rare tequila, grappa, sake and the widest range of Bordeaux
in Lithuania - en primeur and old vintages, Grand Cru Classé and Petit
Chateaus. Wine tastings are organized on regular basis and also upon

Every summer Valdas and Rasa's farm in the village of Dargužiai is transformed into The Cheese makers' Home, certified by the Lithuanian Association of Cheese Eaters and producers, Viva Sol.

The Cheese makers' Home is situated in the village of Dargužiai, 50km southwest of Vilnius on A4 in the direction of Druskininkai.
On the shore of Lake Paplovinis, by the sculpture of Ignas and Lina, sits a cosy hotel and restaurant "Žuvėdra". The wide selection of European and national food in the restaurant`s menu also features dishes of East Aukštaitija culinary heritage which are available from Thursday to Sunday. The "Žuvėdra" restaurant invites visitors to try potato sausage, stuffed potato dumplings (cepelinai), cheese with honey or cold beet soup made in the local tradition. On weekends you will be offered a speciality of local culinary heritage, the soup "poliauka", the recipe of which is borrowed from a local woman, Brone Kaulakyte-Bagdoniene. Herself, she got her lesson on how to cook it from her grandmother. The dish is supposed to be 150 years old or even older. Not every family could afford "poliauka" at that time. It was considered to be holiday`s meal of the middle and upper peasant class. The main ingredient was a pig`s trotter, which could well be substituted with a pig`s shoulder with offal. To make the soup more satisfying, housewives would add a little flour. Dried boletuses, which abound in this area in a good summer, were added for flavour. The soup is served with cold potatoes and considered fine when jelly-like and slightly bitter. Bon appetit!
You are welcome to visit the hotel-restaurant "Labanoras", situated in the very middle of Labanoras forest, Labanoras town. In a spacious granary, in ambiance of ancient utensils you may enjoy the possibility to watch the preparation of meals and savour dainties of the country cuisine. Guests have the possibility to watch how the Bread is made and to bake a loaf for themselves. Of course, you need to arrange it first as the bread takes more than one day to sour! It is a perfect place for family or business dinner, feasts and get-together.
You will have the possibility to try meals made of goods of Labanoras forest - mushrooms:

omelette with chanterelles
potato pancakes, spaghetti or home-made dumplings with porcini sauce

When you come to Kavarskas, you cannot leave without visiting St. John`s spring praised by various stories since 16th century. The spring water is miraculous - it cures, refreshes, gives strength.
Near this tourist beloved place there is a cafe-bar "Šaltinis" (spring).
You are welcome to come! We cook meals with the miraculous spring water. You may taste the popular dumplings either in our cafe or in the hall at a table of 100 seats.

Located in the picturesque Niūronys village (5 km away from Anykščiai, in the area of Horse museum), the coffee-house Pasagėlė (Little Horseshoe) invites you to escape the tiresome hurry-scurry of the city, relax, treat yourself on potato croquettes, home-made bread, kvass, Laimos cake. The food is made from local products, following the long traditions. Enjoy Voruta wine, produced in Anykščiai, exceptional bear made by Aukštaitijos bravorai (Aukštaitija Breweries).
Advance orders for various parties are accepted. We provide a service called Kitchen on Wheels, i.e. we cater at any place and any time convenient to you.

The homestead is located 1 km from road Utena-Kupiškis nearby Svėdasai village. There is a pond and a fragrant pinewood close by the place. We can accommodate up to thirty persons at a time. We are specializing at serving various festive events, conferences.
We joined the Culinary Heritage network in 2008. We can cater for up to forty persons at a time.
Our cooks will prepare for you delicious specialities of Aukštaitija region: beetroot soup with boletus, dumplings with lamb stuffing, filling cabbage soup, pork rolls with mushroom sauce, potatoes baked in their jackets, pancakes with various fillings, dumplings stuffed with potatoes, kvass. For special occasions you can order stuffed pike, homemade real honey cake.
We take catering orders for groups of fifteen persons and more. We use only fresh products from local farms.

There is "Gojus Inn" that is located alongside the Vilnius-Utena road beside Molėtai, in Gojus village, on the bank of Kirneilis Lake. Beautiful surroundings, fresh air, a boat and a little rest house are always waiting for guests who are tired of noisy cities or come from distant countries.
This year "Gojus Inn" is in the net of cuisine heritage. Folk wisdom and customs are the basis for our all work. This is why a distinctive style of the nation arises, it is our pride, which is exceptionally Lithuanian.
So, make a visit to "Gojus Inn" and relish the meals that are made in our kitchen. Some of them are more common in our time while others come from ancient times, and are told by our grandparents and forefathers and that have not been tasted yet.

If you catch a fish, we shall be pleased to cook fish soup based on our recipes.

In 2004, we joined the network of East Aukštaitija Regional Culinary Heritage. Our speciality included in the culinary heritage is a fish dish. Membership of this network is highly beneficial because it gives good publicity, and participation in seminars and discussions gives us opportunities to acquire experience, and learn new things which we can apply in our business: which is to popularise the traditional cuisine of the Zarasai region, to cherish its authenticity, and the way of life of the local residents.
People coming for amusements and holidays need food and drinks, and for this purpose we opened an inn. Having opened a mini bar, our expectations came true! Since the inn is not very spacious, we recommend our guests enjoy their food and drinks on our floating terrace on the River Šventoji.
