Thank you for your help in booking our holiday in Lithuania.
All the arrangements worked well and the guides were very interesting.
For any future clients I would suggest that they do not visit Kaunas on a Monday as everything was closed and it was hard to find anything to do. We visited 2 information offices but they did not have any ideas of what we could do. Sunday would have been a better day as there were boat trips and a tour to the open air museum.
We will tell our friends about your company.

Dear Gediminas,

We want to thank you for the wonderful job you and Simone did in setting up our Jewish Heritage Tour. We were nervous about working with a company which we discovered strictly through an internet search, but Visit Lithuania worked with us for over a year to ease our concerns. The itinerary you developed, the flexibility you showed, and the professionalism you possessed made our trip wonderful. It was also a plus that our tour guide, Petras, was so accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. We would definitely recommend Visit Lithuania to anyone considering going to the Baltics. We had a great time.

Thank you,
Sharon (USA) and Orly (Israel)

Hi Visit Lithuania,
Thanks for helping us to organise an entirely customised tour.
Our overnight stay in Husky Village was wonderful.
We had never stayed overnight in a Tipi before where fire were set in the centre to keep us warm.
Husky village couples were very friendly and introduced us to the 24 huskies.
The Husky ride was thrilling, unlike the usual husky ride in snow, the ride in summer is a totally different feel.

Another interesting activity is abandoned military tunnels tour where we have to hike through the hills to reach the abandoned military tunnels.
We will have to crawl through narrow tunnels opening to get into the military tunnels.
It was a really fun despite we got really dirty.
The guide was very informative and interesting!

Aerobatic flight was an activities where some of us were really excited about while some where really worry about the G force.
Through there were some misunderstanding between Visit Lithuania, Aerobatic Flight Company and us, eventually everything was resolved.
Due to the misunderstanding in aerobatic flight activity, we missed Ninth Forth museum but Visit Lithuania had arrange for refund to us.
All was good!
Despite it was a short 10 minutes ride but it is all packed with actions!
The view up there is amazing!

Swamp tour was a tour which definitely the norm will not go, haha.
We were all well prepared for the tour with our attire and grapping strong branches as our support through the walk in the swamp.
Many funny moments were created during the walk.
People often ask why swamp tour, well, just for experience!

Trakai castle is a must visit castle in Lithuania where beautiful pictures can be taken easily.
Was really surprise that there’s a post office inside the castle!
Got international stamps and postcards from there ~

Nida is place where it gives off a relaxing vibe.
A place where you can do all sorts of interesting sports and of course to visit Parnidis Dune.

Driver had been very patient with us and guided us whenever we needed help.
Overall the tour were well organised by Visit Lithuania.
Despite there were last minute cancellation and misunderstanding in the tour, Visit Lithuania shown great responsibility by coming to meet us in person, apologized and refunded us.
Help was available even when there is no tour guide in our tour.
I must say Visit Lithuania had did a great job and I’ll definitely recommend my friends to have Visit Lithuania to package their tour!
Once again, thank you Gabriel? from Visit Lithuania

Dear Gediminas,

The June "Lithuanian Experience" tour was one of the most enjoyable group tours we have been on. Before joining the tour, we were impressed with the prompt response to every email we sent and quick organisation of the tour and details, which were all done over the internet. Our group of six travellers all got on very well and it was so nice to be part of a small group. Gintas is a wonderful tour guide, who was not only very knowledgeable but a lovely man who really looked after us from start to finish. The choice of places visited on the tour was wonderful and varied from the beautiful capital, Vilnius, to Trakai, the spa town of Druskininkai, the coastal city of Palanga, the Curonian Spit and of course the Hill of Crosses. It was also lovely to see the Baltic art and paint our own weathervanes. We came away with from the tour feeling we had learned a lot about Lithuania, its history, culture and people. We would definitely recommend the "Lithuanian Experience” tour to other travellers.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Hi, Gediminas,

Here are some thoughts:

I found the Baltics beautiful. You don't have to go far outside the cities to see the countries' natural loveliness. The forests, lakes, and most of all the coastline are so unspoiled, making this a wonderful destination for nature lovers like me.

But the cities are lovely too. The architecture is gorgeous. The pedestrian areas are so inviting. You can sit all day by a fountain with coffee and enjoy doing exactly nothing. They're not overrun with traffic so even when I stayed downtown I slept well at night. I found it interesting that nobody gets going very early in the morning so the mornings are always especially quiet. I liked that because I could get a lot of work done before heading out to explore.

It's clear that the Baltics have invested a lot into restoring historic landmarks and architecture. The region has a great story to tell going back hundreds and hundreds of years, yet interpretive materials I encountered were mostly only available in the native language. In order to appeal to the growing number of non-Baltic people coming to the region, translations need to be available for non-native speakers—even if it's only one other language: English. Nearly all the travelers I encountered spoke English, without being British, American, or any other native English speaker.

I know the service economy in the Baltics is relatively new but I often found it difficult to get help when I asked for it or even to get a response— I sometimes felt like I annoyed people simply by asking.Twice a bus driver wouldn't open the baggage compartment so I could load my bag, so I just did it myself. I had trouble getting taxis several times, and when I got them, I had trouble getting the drivers to take me to the addresses I'd printed out. One time was funny: I was in the Birzai bus station for nearly an hour and no one was around anywhere--no taxis, not even any people. Then I saw a driver across the street loading packages in his taxi and I pleaded with him to give me a ride. He wasn't happy about it but he did it, and I gave him a big tip. He was so happy about that he carried my bag all the way up the stairs and inside the hotel.

I've learned in my travels that people are very different everywhere, and often what feels like rudeness is something completely different. So I didn't take anything seriously. All in all, I loved traveling in the Baltics and plan to come again—probably to spend more time in Nida!

Let me know if this is what you were looking for?

Best,
Terry

Hello Gediminas,
We had a very good day with Agne. All the comments to me were that she did a very good job. It was clear that she wanted everyone to have a good day and that she was trying hard to make this happen. She organized us well and had a lot of good information to share. We wished that we had more time with her. We were the first people off the ship and she was there to meet us. We stayed with her as long as we could with time to make it back to the ship before it left.
Do you know about Trip Advisor? It is a website that many, many people use to get recommendations for traveling. I would like to write a review for your tour. Can you give me a web address for people to visit if they want to book a tour with you?
It was a pleasure to work with you to plan our excursion.
Best regards,
